About PRCF

The People’s Representatives Committee for Federal (PRCF) is a political coalition and institutional platform working on federal democratic transition, constitutional development, political dialogue, research and external engagement.

The People’s Representatives Committee for Federal (PRCF) emerged in the period following Myanmar’s military coup as a coalition of political forces with strong roots in the United Nationalities Alliance (UNA) and partner organizations.

PRCF’s institutional work has included federal constitutional development, political dialogue, research, international engagement and internal coordination.

A public interview concerning the formation of PRCF described the alliance at that time as bringing together UNA member parties and partner political organizations. Because membership and representation may change over time, this website does not treat an earlier membership count as the current official registry.

PRCF subsequently undertook work on a future Federal Democratic Union constitution, with constitutional drafting reported as beginning in 2022. The Constitution of Federal Democratic Union 2024 was later issued under PRCF as a Final Draft.

PRCF continues to develop its political, institutional, research, international and public-information work through collective decisions and assigned teams and committees.
